Mason Angel

Venture Capitalist and founding member of Industrious Ventures

Mason Angel is a career Venture Capitalist and founding member of Industrious Ventures where he invests in companies progressing commercial space efforts for the benefit of earth, building autonomous systems to enhance humanities capabilities, and technology enhancing our national security. His enthusiasm for space and education expands beyond his professional role as a venture capitalist and includes philanthropic roles as a Director of TAFF, a non-profit supporting STEM in early stage education, partnering with programs such as Khan Academy and his alma mater Tulane University.

In May of 2024 Mason had the fortunate opportunity to launch onboard Blue Origin's New Shepard Mission #25, becoming the 546 individual to venture above the Karman line alongside air force veteran Ed Dwight. It is Mason’s life's long pursuit for every child, regardless of their past, to receive the same educational opportunity for their future.

He believes that the space sector is on the cusp of a technological revolution that will rival in scale the proliferation of commercial airplanes. The cost of transporting materials to space will be reduced by an order of magnitude and new capabilities such as the expedient down mass (or return) of biopharmaceutical products and materials to earth will become commonplace.

Mason currently serves as a Board Observer for Stoke Space Technologies, Xona Space Systems, and a Board Director for Lunar Outpost Inc.
