Nadine Nicole is a Filipina-German Actress, most recently portraying Clarissa Mao on Amazon Prime’s television series The Expanse, which has received critical acclaim for its scientific accuracy, winning a Hugo Award for Best Dramatic Presentation and receiving four Saturn Award nominations for Best Science Fiction Television Series. Nadine is also the founder of True Connection, a nonprofit created to inspire social empathy and purpose-based leadership that elevates our connection to the planet, each other and a higher purpose.

Nadine found her calling in humanitarian services when she taught theater to developmentally disabled adults at Mi-STAR Nonprofit in Los Angeles. She then served as CEO of HOW (Helping Others Worldwide) Nonprofit from 2009-2011, creating and executing a Healing Art Programs for orphaned youth in Sierra Leone, Africa. Of the students they worked with, two went on to win national art competitions, one completed a book, and many others showed a decrease in stress symptoms.

Motivated by this passion for educating and inspiring youth, Nadine then founded True Connection to expand the Healing Arts Program locally in Los Angeles and Compton in 2012. For the next six years she led volunteers in providing Healing Arts Programming to kids in low-income areas and homeless youth. Since then, Nadine joined the Social Emotional Learning movement in education, collaborating with professionals to create True Connection’s HiEQ Curriculum and now sits on the SEL4CA Alliance Providers Committee.

As an actress, Nadine moved the hearts of many in her award-winning role as Julia in Lonely Planet, which earned her Best Actress from LIFF Awards (Laughlin International Film Festival), alongside Best Film Awards and honorable mentions from Soho, Newport Beach, and Palm Springs International Festivals. Her television resume includes memorable roles as Amy on NBC's The Village, Casey on Hulu's comedy Casual, and Gwen Randall on CBS's The Young & Restless. She appears in prime time series Scorpion, CSI: NY, CSI: Las Vegas, CSI: Cyber, 90210, The Protector and Romantically Challenged. She also starred in poignant indie features, including Misha in Paradise Broken and as Angie in So Long, Lonesome.

Nadine was born and raised in Rochester Hills, Michigan, where she graduated from a National Exemplary High School as an Honor Student and Executive Board President while also managing to play varsity basketball, volleyball and softball. She studied Liberal Arts at Fordham University Lincoln Center and Audio Engineering at SAE Institute of Design in New York City. When not busy with work she can be found hiking with her rescue pup, Beija Bella.
