Richard Humphrey
Richard is an entrepreneur and angel investor experienced in aerospace, product design, and business development. In 2015 he co-founded a launch company that is still in stealth mode. He was Co-founder of private airline, Kavoo which sold to ImagineAir in 2014. He was the former President and Chairman of the Entrepreneurs Organization New York, and founder of product design company, Drinkworks which sold in 2005. He has been an early investor in more than 12 startups, and has been an active member of New York Angels and Space Angels Network.
He has twice been named by Inc. magazine to the 2011 and 2003 Inc 500 list as CEO of one of the fastest growing private companies in America. Richard has been profiled in Business Week and Forbes, and as finalist for Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year Award. Richard is a private pilot and holds an undergraduate degree in economics and an MBA in Finance.
He lives in New York and Paris with his wife Sophie and their 3 sons.
