CAP: An Update From the Citizen Astronaut Program
Dear Citizen Astronaut Applicant Community,
I hope this letter finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to reach out and let you know that we have received your applications and are currently in the review process.
Firstly, I want to express my sincere gratitude for your interest in becoming a Citizen Astronaut and support for Space for Humanity. The passion and dedication that each and every one of you has shown for space exploration is truly inspiring, and we are honoured to have the opportunity to consider you for this unique and exciting experience.
Please know that we are carefully reviewing each application and taking the time to analyze the three pillars of Leadership, Community Development, and Impact, which is at the core of our Citizen Astronaut program. Through the passion of your applications, the team and I are clear on how important this opportunity is to each of you. We can imagine how exciting waiting can be. Thank you for your patience.
As we move forward with the selection process, we will inform via email those who have reached Round 2 of our selection process. Due to the volume of applicants and concentration needed for the process, we will only be in direct contact with those who reach Round 2. However, in the future we will be holding an Application Master Class for those who are not selected to answer questions and provide additional information about our process. If you were not selected for this round, we encourage you to apply again. There are astronauts that have applied to NASA a dozen times before being selected!
