Humans of Our Planet: CA-1 Katya Echazarreta

One year ago, we made history. 🚀

We sent Katya Echazarreta to space. As the first Mexican-born woman to do so, she flew on the NS-21 mission by Blue Origin through Space for Humanity’s Citizen Astronaut Program.

She is one of the lucky few humans to experience the Overview Effect, the profound feeling of awe and connection that comes from seeing Earth from an outside perspective.

On Today's HOOP, Rachel and Katya discuss the life of a CA one-year on from space flight!

Also, we announce our Zero-G Giveaway!

How would YOU like to become one of the tiny percentage of people who have experienced zero gravity? Not in a rocket, but in a plane. A plane that can launch you into weightlessness to feel the momentary release of Earth’s gravitational pull. Sounds awesome, right?

Well, that's exactly what Space for Humanity is extending to you in partnership with Zero-G.
