S4H Zero-G Giveaway Winner Announcement!!!
We are thrilled to announce the winner and runner-ups of our #thisismys4h Zero-G giveaway!
This was a tough decision, as we received so many creative and inspiring entries from all over the world. Thank you to everyone who participated and shared your unique ways of spreading awareness about Space for Humanity’s mission and the Overview Effect.
And the Winner is…
Congratulations go to @faberburgos, who created a fantastic video about how seeing Earth from space can change our perspective and inspire us to protect our planet, and he did it by sending up a weather balloon with a camera - NO BIGGIE!
Question - If androids dream of electric sheep, do action cams experience the Overview Effect? We might not be able to answer this philosophical question, but Faber sure has a lot of scientific ones he’s interested in exploring in micro-gravity!
This leads us to the proud announcement that we will be following Faber along on his journey on our socials as he experiences true weightlessness without going to space, and we can’t wait to see him float, flip, and soar like an astronaut!
Runner-Ups
Our three runner-ups in the giveaway are:
@gabrielaiancu took us on a journey to space for Earth with her multidisciplinary creations.
@stories_of_hope found inspiration through the Overview Effect, and our mission and transferred it beautifully in his video entry that in turn inspires us.
@lolivlet shows us how she’s bringing space to everyone, through her activism in science education, showing that you can start changing the world before you get the chance to go to space for Earth.
