You’re Invited to Join Our Space for Humanity Air Zero-G Training Program
We're excited to announce our Take Off in Zero-G campaign!
This summer, lucky Space for Humanity followers, age 18 or older, from regions where space voices are often underrepresented, will win a seat aboard an Air Zero G flight departing from Bordeaux, France, on August 26, 2026.
Winners will also have the opportunity to work with an incredible group of established science communication mentors, who will be revealed as the campaign progresses. The mentors will give guidance, training, and support to help selectees become effective space and science communicators. Working alongside their mentors, winners will also develop and launch their own science communication social media channels later in the year, helping bring their stories to new audiences around the world. (To maximize the number of seats available for followers, the mentors themselves will not participate in the flight.)
The story of humanity's future amongst the stars should be told by many voices, not just a few. But that future can only inspire when people see themselves reflected in it. By empowering communicators from regions where space and science voices are underrepresented, we hope to expand access to knowledge, spark curiosity, and help ensure that the next chapter of exploration includes perspectives from every corner of the globe.
We're looking for passionate individuals who want to inspire others by sharing STEM, space, and their zero-G experience with their communities through social media. No prior experience in space or science communication is required.
To enter, create and leave publicly visible a short (maximum four minutes) video on any major social media platform answering the following three questions:
Why do you want to become a space communicator?
What unique perspective do you bring to space communication?
Why does space storytelling matter in your region?
All video submissions must:
Include the hashtag #TakeOffInZeroG
Tag us on the respective platform
Remain publicly visible throughout the selection process
Space for Humanity will select the winners and announce them on its social media channels.

Selection
Preference will be given to applicants from regions where space and science communicators are underrepresented. We are looking for passionate individuals with unique perspectives who are eager to inspire their communities and help tell the story of space through their own cultural lens.
