April was a defining month for Space for Humanity, marked by the historic launch and return of Artemis II — a powerful reminder that space exploration is as much about perspective as it is about distance. At the same time, our global impact extended beyond the launchpad, to the world stage at the United Nations, and continued engagement with industry leaders, innovators, and partners shaping the future of space around the world.
The Overview 03/31
March reminded us that the future of space belongs to everyone — from convention halls filled with curious minds, and the hallowed halls of the Smithsonian, to red carpets celebrating the stories of unexpected heroes. Over just a few remarkable days, Space for Humanity connected with thousands of excited members of the public, gathered with astronauts and global leaders, partnered with major storytellers bringing space into popular culture, and helped spotlight how ordinary people can play extraordinary roles in humanity’s journey beyond Earth.
“Project Hail Mary”
When Amazon MGM Studios approached S4H about collaborating on an event surrounding “Project Hail Mary’s” release, our answer was an enthusiastic “Yes!”
SFH at AwesomeCon
Awesome Con is one of the East Coast’s largest fan conventions, an annual pop culture extravaganza celebrating geek culture (as well as all things science, technology, and space). This year, Space for Humanity hosted a booth, sharing our mission with approximately 60,000 con-goers and showing how ordinary people just like them have the opportunity to travel to space and experience the Overview Effect.
